Brookfield Manor Permissive Path

One-day closure Monday 5 February 2024: the Parish Council have been advised by the management of Brookfield Manor that the permissive path through their property will be closed on Monday 5 February 2024. This is in line with their annual one-day closure of this path. Brookfield Ground is private land. By permission of the owners Hathersage residents have access up the tarmac drive to where footpaths cross the drive; it is not a public right of way. Brookfield Manor management kindly request that access to the drive is kept clear at all times and not blocked by winter activities e.g. during the early December 2023 snowfall when local children built a large snowman on the drive blocking access.
