As of 5 January, Hathersage, along with the rest of England, is in national lockdown. This is in response to significant increases in coronavirus cases related to the new, more transmissible strain of Covid-19. Residents should not leave or be outside their home except where necessary. You may leave home to:
- shop for basic necessities for yourself or a vulnerable person
- go to work, or provide voluntary or charitable services, if you cannot reasonably do so from home
- exercise with your household (or support bubble) or one other person – this should be limited to once per day and you should not travel outside your local area
Full details of lockdown rules and regulations can be found here. There are also regular coronavirus updates on the Derbyshire Dales website. For those who are clinically extremely vulnerable you can get support including with supermarket delivery slots.
Hathersage Swimming Pool has now closed and will remain closed throughout lockdown, along with all other non-essential facilities, shops, beauty salons and hairdressers.
