Bike Security – Police Bike Marking event – Hathersage, Thursday 24 November

Heart of Hathersage – Thursday 24 November, 5-6pm – bike marking, facilitated by the Police

What you need to know: if you are attending, please bring your bike with you and make sure you have the frame number to hand; one kit per bike and per person. For those who have visited Bike Marking events recently, had a bike registered and wanted to know how to register more bikes, please follow instructions below:

• Once one of your bikes has been marked and registered you can add more bikes by logging into your account at www.bikeregister.com
• Click ‘My bikes’ – you  should see a green tab ‘Register another bike’.
• Have your frame number to hand which can be found underneath the bike, between the pedals.
• Registration is free so – skip the sections when asked to purchase a kit or lock – then complete your registration by clicking the ‘Complete my registration’ green tab  at the foot of the page

 

Your bike has now been registered. This procedure limits you from having multiple accounts on the Bike Register, and makes it easier for you to monitor your account/bikes.
