On Thursday 2 May elections will be held including election of a Mayor for the East Midlands Combined County Authority; and for a Police and Crime Commissioner for the Derbyshire Police Area.
Voting – remember you must bring photo ID with you, to the polling station, to vote at these elections. Any of the following forms of ID are acceptable.
- Passport
- Driving licence (including provisional license)
- Blue badge
- Certain concessionary travel cards
- Identity card with PASS mark (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
- Biometric Immigration document
- Defence identity card
- Certain national identity cards
Are you registered to vote? If not, applications to register to vote must reach the relevant Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 16 April 2024. Applications can be made online via https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. See further information on the 2024 Elections, and voting, on the Derbyshire Dales District Council website.
